The European Parliament will soon launch the European Visa Information System (VIS) which will have 70 million sets of fingerprints.

As the world’s largest biometric database, VIS will help in the improvement and security of EU visa-issuing procedures therefore the Schengen countries will unify to fight terrorism by allowing the police and Europol to have supervised access
